Steak sauce! A beautiful medium rare rib-eye steak comes alive with the right sauce. With a few simple ingredients, this recipe is easy and super delicious. The taste and flavor is so memorable that you will be returning to this recipe time and again.
Now, it doesn’t matter what cut of steak you choose to use, even the humble cuts, the ones that are on sale can pair well with a steak sauce. The key ingredients are heavy cream and dijon mustard. Its hard to go wrong with those two ingredients. The flavor of the steak infuses into the rendition, offering something rather spectacular.

Steak provides the foundational flavor of this recipe. It is an absolute prerequisite to make deepen the taste of this sauce. And, if you’re making a steak, this sauce will be a perfect accompaniment. Dijon mustard adds flavor, skip out on the sauce as the mustard has sodium. Parmesan cheese adds a creamy, cheesy flavor. And, heavy cream makes this sauce super smooth and velvety.
The Primary ingredients that make this sauce phenomenal are dijon mustard and heavy cream. However, it is a steak sauce and having the juices of the grilled meat with the rosemary herb and butter are vital components to the flavor.
Cook the Steak: Choose a steak that has some fat content. Consider Rib Eye, T bone Steak, Brisket, Short ribs, Skirt steak. Fry the steak with the whole garlic cloves for four minutes on each side for medium rare. Add more butter as you flip the steak. Remove from pan and set aside.
Create the cream base: The next step is to prepare the secondary base for the steak sauce, this comprises of the creamy elements. Cook this concoction in the same pan that has the steak juices. Reserve the steak juice and butter in pan. To achieve this richness, add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese and Dijon mustard. Dijon mustard adds a lovely tangy tartness to the sauce.
Thicken the sauce: The sauce will brown as you stir it gently. The steak sauce is the star of this dish! It enhances and brings out the meaty flavors of the steak in a unique and powerful way.
