Today, we are making Beef burgers, whether grilled to perfection on an outdoor barbecue or cooked in the comfort of your home, beef burgers are considered a staple around the world. With their juicy flavors and savory patties, this meal appeals to a wide audience.

The key to creating the tastiest beef burgers lies in the technique, and in this post, we’re sharing all of our secrets. The best part about this recipe is that it can be customized to your liking. You can add your favorite vegetables, a scrambled egg, avocado, and hot sauce.
Beef mince, Brioche Buns, Onions, Tomatoes, Lettuce, Cheddar Cheese.
When making burgers, it’s important to choose high-quality beef mince. You can also mix beef mince with chicken for added flavor or opt for 100% chicken mince if preferred. For the buns, brioche buns are soft and ideal for beef burgers, but plain sesame seed buns work just as well. To enhance the flavor, spread butter on the top of the buns. For toppings, select your favorite vegetables such as tomatoes, lettuce, and cucumbers. It’s recommended to use store-bought cheddar cheese, as it comes perfectly sliced and melts nicely.
The key to the best beef patties is good-quality meat with a higher protein-to-fat ratio. The fat content should be around 10-15% of the protein content. Add ginger and garlic to the beef mince. Add parsley, salt, and pepper. Roll up the mince into beef balls.

Add butter to the frying pan. Place the beef ball inside and use a spatula to press it outward. Continue applying pressure until the desired texture is reached.

Set the temperature to medium-high heat. When the patty has taken shape and has sizzled for 1 minute, flip it. Add slices of onion to the raw side of the beef patty, pressing them in until they are firmly embedded in the meat. Flip and press the patty down again to firmly embed the onion into the meat. Add sliced cheese to the beef patty. The best cheeses are orange cheddar.

Lower the temperature. The easiest and fastest way to melt the cheese is to cover it with a lid. The moisture will circulate within the pan, quickening the process.

Add butter to the brioche buns and toast until they are lightly browned. Add the lettuce to the base of the burger, then the tomato, then the burger patty, then the lettuce, and another burger patty. Add your favorite sauce to complete your beef burgers.

If you’re using fried onions for your burger patty, be sure not to add them to the base of the burger bun, as this will make the bottom soggy. This meal is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy restaurant-quality burgers at home for a fraction of the cost. Homemade burgers are also healthier than dining out.
To store beef burgers, wrap each in parchment paper or foil and refrigerate for up to two days. For longer storage, grill the patties and keep them separate from buns and fresh vegetables. Wash and dry the veggies before placing them in Tupperware to extend their freshness. This method can keep burgers for three to seven days, making it great for meal prepping.
Beef burgers are convenient meals for home or on the go. In my opinion, Fried chips are mandatory when eating burgers or grilled meat. Homemade mayonnaise or Gochujang mayonnaise is also essential when enjoying a burger. Consider a Greek Salad or a Kale Salad as excellent side-dishes to accompany the burger.
To make beef burger patties, focus on timing and technique. Cook on medium-high heat for 3 to 4 minutes for medium-rare. Avoid pressing down on the patties to retain juices. Toppings like sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions, avocado, and sunny-side-up eggs are great options, along with various cheeses for added flavor. Use sauces like ketchup or barbecue sparingly to avoid excess salt. Making beef burgers at home is easy and convenient.
