5Garlic cloves- Sliced
1Onion - Sliced
Seasonings
1TbspSoy sauce
1tspOyster sauce
½tspRice vinegar
½Chicken stock cube
½tspWhite pepper
1literWater
3TbspCooking oil
Instructions
Prepare the ingredients: Halve and rinse the Bok choy. Slice the onion, garlic, and ginger into matchsticks. Clean and cut the mushrooms.
Sauté the aromatics: Heat oil in a pot over medium-low heat. Add onion, garlic, and ginger, sautéing for 3 minutes.
Sauté the mushrooms: Add mushrooms and stir, adding more oil if needed. Sauté for 3 minutes until water is released, then add ground white pepper.
Add seasonings and Bok choy: Mix in oyster sauce, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Add water and a chicken stock cube, boil for 15 minutes with the lid on. Add Bok choy in the last 5 minutes. Serve immediately & enjoy the soup hot.
