Brussels Sprouts are delicious! It makes an incredible side dish. When caramelized, the taste is out of this world. In fact, once you taste this recipe, you will want to indulge in this recipe every single day!
Preparation: Wash the Brussels sprouts and pat them dry with a paper towel. Cut off the tip of the step and halve them. Mince the garlic.
Oven: Preheat the oven to 200'C / 400F. (The Brussels sprouts will be moved from pan into the oven)
Cook the Brussels sprouts: Preheat the pan on medium-low heat. Drizzle two Tbsp of olive oil on the pan and add minced garlic. Add salt, Cajun spice and white pepper. Cook the garlic for 1 minute with the spices. Add the halved Brussels sprouts in the pan. Make sure that the halved side must be in contact with the pan. Add extra 1 Tbsp of olive oil into the pan and without stirring, cook the Brussels sprouts for 4 minutes on medium-high heat.
Bake in Oven: Transfer the Brussels sprouts (without garlic) from the pan onto the baking tray / casserole. Drizzle extra olive oil on the Brussels sprouts before putting in the oven. Place the casserole in the oven and roast the Brussels sprouts for 10 minutes. Serve immediately.
