Fresh ingredients
4Garlic cloves minced
1Onion minced
½ cupFresh Parsley
Instructions
Prepare the ingredients: Finely mince the garlic cloves and onion, and roughly chop the parsley. Gather the spices and minced lamb.
Mix the ingredients: Prepare a large bowl, add minced lamb, spices, garlic, onion, parsley, bread crumbs, salt, black pepper and 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
Shape the Lamb Kofta's: First, shape the minced meat into a ball and then slowly roll them into the shape of cylindrical patties and skewer them. This recipe makes 12 Koftas and the patties will be about 54 grams each.
Cook the Lamb Kofta's: Preheat a pan on medium low heat. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil on the pan and cook for 5 minutes on each side of the patty. If you are grilling them on fire, be careful not to burn the skewer stick. Grill the Kofta for 4 minutes on each side. Apply the tzatziki on the Arabic bread, layer the red cabbage slaw and 2 lamb Koftas.
